Two years ago, Tully Rotary Club joined forces with the FFA Group at Tully Central School and created a new endeavor. Butterflied Potatoes!
This delicious goodie was served at the LaFayette Apple Festival and became a hit snack. Served with cheese sauce or a condiment of your choice.
The "core crew" who serve this to the public are: Hal Brown, Ron Bartelt, Jill Northrup, Colleen Currie to name only a few who spend time organizing this event. Many others are recruited to wash the potatoes, cut them up, fry them, serve them etc.
